To jonhawkes, should have been said sooner…

Thanks you! Finally after a long down time was able to open the static bag and extract that awesome AirSpy Mini tonight and start working on support for it. Have gone through the steps and will be adding AirSpy support for 1090MHz into 2.7.0 if not sooner! I will be focusing on the bash side of things, Aka, v2.x a bit longer while still dedicating some time to v3.x but I feel I got to show a sooner ROI to those contributing to the project instead of halting additions to v2.x and focusing totally on v3.x which will start out crippled in comparison to v2.x due to scope of the upgrade. Anyways got a rough install script already wrote for the AirSpy just want to make sure I am not installing too many prerequisites. I had to fix a bug pertaining to dump1090-fa which I should make a new image release for at which time I would like to add beta, well actually stable quality, support for AirSpy/dump1090 integration. Maybe this week we can expect v2.7.0 with fixes and additions which would call for a minor version advancement such as AirSpy 1090MHz support? I would like to add more such as a unified map which I have been working on for 3.x which I would like tested before hand but that might have to wait for a 2.8.x release…

I have been looking into UAT support as well although with little luck. Sadly AirSpy does not seem to support UAT in their software which is closed source and not well documented. Maybe if we ask nicely? That or if anyone with any information on getting an AirSpy dongle to listen for and decode UAT would be greatly appreciated.

Side note…
I got adapters coming in for a 1090MHz and 978MHz filter sent as well and looking to give them a try!
Feel so bad for not getting around to giving them a go sooner but will report back.
